Sad but true.   A lie based on Pagan religion like the Mithras that came before Xtianity.   That religion had a virgin birth too IIRC.

I'll be the narrator. Here's a sample of my opening narration:

When Jesus was born, the Earth was flat
and a whole lot of folks preferred it like that
King Herod wanted to smack him down
so his soldiers killed all the firstborns in town
But Joseph was hip and smuggled him out
so he could spread the Good Word about
Heaven and love and forgiveness and grace
but wait I'm getting ahead of my pace
wind back to that night in Bethlehem
with Mary and Joseph ISO an inn
Mary heavy with child, both tired and sore
no room at the inn for a God who snores
so it's off to the barn with animals & kin
and that, my friends, is where our story begins....
