I am very jealous sounds like a dream job.  Take lots of photos and share them here.  I wish there was something like that around here

Santa Maria Airport (KSMX) AKA Capt. Allan Hancock Field, was a B-25, then a P-38 training base durring WW II.

Trivia Fact: Allan Hancock owned the property that the La Brea tar pits is on. When they started to discover fossils there, the prime specimens were taken by Allan and donated to Allan Hancock College. The're locked up in the bioology dpet., I've seen a few of them.

That's so cool. Am a little jealous. Need to find something better to do with my time. Too much time on the internet lately.
