Postponing de-boning the chicken.

Posting, watching TV, about to have something to eat.

Waiting for my friend's laundry to be finished rinsing.  Then I'll bring it to her and stop by the grocery store on the way home.  Ice Cream Time.

Yeah, I'm after some grab rails, a toilet frame (how embarrassing, but I have no leg power to stand up from the loo..), 3 months loan of a self-propelling wheelchair with left leg raise and also a leg grabber (probably not the proper name, but imagine a stiff lassoo with two loops, one at either end rather than just the one). Then also I'll probably have to buy some weightlifting gloves and some wrist supports. My disability living allowance covers not even 10% of the cost. :-\

There is a glut of that sort of stuff around here.  Insurance companies pay for it then the people don't use it and get rid of it.  Not so much the power chairs but the other things. Is there a second hand market type place you could try?

Yeah, I was thinking there's probably loads of it going to waste. I'm gonna look in the local papers and on gumtree and craigslist. Actually, now you've reminded me I'll ask around. Thanks for the tip :)

When I volunteered for the Red Cross, people could borrow them for free. Maybe ask your local Red Cross for ideas as well.

I'm currently ignoring all the housework I need to get done and I must say I'm doing a very fine job of it too. :P
