Oh yes, you reminded me, I decided to speed up the XP laptop that actually went well, the computer actually needed a defrag, still freezes once and a while but drastically improved it aswell as Chkdsk.
I also had to clean half of the junk on there.

My laptop seems faster after the upgrade. Pretty damned impressive for something that is six years old.
