Why don't we have a "What Did You Just Do?" thread, or maybe a "What Will You Be Doing After You Post This?" Whenever I open this thread, I want to write "I'm writing this" when what was probably meant was one of the above.

I just completed an online questionnaire on the Internet use of autistic people (thanks to Pyraxis), and I'm about to take a backup of the site.

listening to some v old chaka khan remixes (reminded myself of her in the musical alphabet thread).

fucking hell, the slap bass is so effing fab, i'm bopping all over the place in my chair, and want to turn the volume up to 12 and dance all round the house!  :belly:

(and that's even though i suspect it's a keyboard bass, which i usually loathe).

When I went out for the mail, I spotted a "fat lady"  Large-ish argiope repairing her snare. Hadn't seen her in a couple of days. Thought she was a goner. It's been freezing cold. Only a matter of days, I'm sure, for her. She is very pregnant with the makings of an eggsac, I'm guessing, from her size.

These spiders are fascinating, because they prepare a special section of their web from the left-overs of previous catches to be extra springy, for instant use when needed. Natural recycling, at its best. They still eat their webs to recapture their valuable resources, but only after re-using sections of it multiple times.
