DD, i like upgrading my box. it's an obsession of mine, something i spend way too much time on. if you just want to run linux like an average user, it's rock steady.

I have been told it means that I can't possibly be a drunk, because my body does not metabolise it into a food source as in most people who develop a dependency.

Not sure I buy it, though. There is plenty of drinking in my heritage.

I have to be throwing them back at speed for a while to get drunk - I expect I get the tolerance from my dad, who can also drink huge quantities of beer without progressing much beyond the won't-stop-fucking talking-and-stumbles-a-bit-on-the-way-to-the-bog stage. unfortunately thats likely why i didnt realise i was drinking a lot more beer than I should be earlier this year, cos I wasn't getting drunk.  .
