Browsing for something I may have missed on the forum and getting ready for another trip to the track.

8 a.m.     Public Gates Open
11 a.m.- Noon    IndyCar Series Practice
Noon-12:30 p.m.    Freedom 100 Pre-Race
12:30 p.m.    Freedom 100 Indy Pro Series Race
1:30 p.m.    Checkers/Rally's Pit Stop Challenge
3:30 p.m.    Vintage car laps
3:30 p.m.    Miller Lite Carb Day Concert featuring Kid Rock
6 p.m.    Track Closes

The bold letters will be the highlight of the day for me. I will enjoy the short Indy Pro Race, but getting to see the classic race cars from the past run on the track is always a thrill. These Vintage Indy 500 cars are on display in the museum, year 'round, but on "Carb Day" they bring some of them out and blow the cobwebs out of the old buckets. It's awesome!
