You know the little chute on top of the dryer, the one the lint filter fits into?  Did you know that that chute
goes all the way to the bottom of the machine?  Well it does!  And I know this because ... when I cleaned
out the lint filter after using the dryer this morning, some of the lint fell off the filter and landed in what I
assumed was the bottom of the chute.  I returned with a long plastic spoon from my apartment,
hoping to hook the lint with the handle.  Well, I fumbled the spoon, and imagine my surprise when it fell
all the way into the dryer.  :facepalm2:    So I called the landlord, and his nice wife assured me that
he will remove the panel from the back of the dryer and retrieve the spoon when he can.  As she
requested, I made an  "Out Of Order"  sign for the dryer for the meantime.

I feel stupid ... yet enlightened.  Today I learned!  :fp:

Today I also discovered, via People magazine, that Daryl Dragon, the "Captain" half of
The Captain and Tennille, has a congenital condition called megalophthalmos, which makes his
eyeballs strikingly large.  I'd never heard of that before and I'm fascinated (and envious)!  1970s pic:

I discovered a tiny scrap of what appears to be hard black rubber, possibly a bit of an
electrical cord.  Now I'll have to check my electronics for evidence of chewing.  Oh well.  :nerdy:

Happy update:  That little scrap of plastic was a piece of piping from the seam of my purse.
That's all.  It's brittle, it's breaking off in other places too.  Cheap piece of shit bag!

You keep shit in there too?

Guess Vespasian would not say that money doesn't stink when it comes from your purse.

Lit should come back, to tell "Pecunia non olet".
Lit might think the same about shit though.  :apondering:

There's a blower fan at the very bottom of the housing. I take mine apart every fall to clean it, he probably does from time to time too... when the lint falls off the screen enough it will lodge in the housing and plug it. It happens.

Probably not just yet.  The bag still looks pretty good and still functions.  :tard:

Percy Faith, who gave the world this lovely version
