Petrol is gradually getting cheaper here. I filled my car for $43 instead of the usual $55 - $60.

  When I was 11 or 12, my family went vacationing on Cape Cod, and I was
   surprised by how expensive gas was there at that time ... 60 cents a gallon!

  electrical cord.  Now I'll have to check my electronics for evidence of chewing.  Oh well.

  I found three odd socks and a fourth with a hole in the heel.  Out they went!  I don't need to hoard any
  potential nesting material.  I also need to free up some room in my dresser.  No more dead weight!

  Also, while mopping my kitchen floor, I discovered lots of pock marks.  I'm thinking a previous tenant 
  must have walked around wearing stiletto heels.      That damage, at least, is not my fault!

  Today, in the supermarket, I saw what appeared to be a used condom on the floor in front of one of the
  freezer cases.  Seriously?!  What asshole did that?!  So I reported it at the customer service desk,
  and said whoever cleaned it up should wear gloves.  The guy I spoke to was courteous and calm.
  So I paid for my stuff and got the hell out so I wouldn't be tempted to go back into that aisle
  and try to micromanage the cleanup, as I am apt to do when freaked out.

  Happy update:  That little scrap of plastic was a piece of piping from the seam of my purse.
   That's all.  It's brittle, it's breaking off in other places too.  Cheap piece of shit bag!
