it's annoying because i actually know the topic really well (i am doing my dissertation on a ww2 thing, although that is more military stuff)
it's not that it's hard though. or even that i dunno what to write. i just can't get it out properly. having real trouble just forming an essay that sounds right if that makes sense. usually i don't have a problem with writing but lately it's shite. possibly the drugs i'm on now

Yes, it does make sense.
Sometimes, I find switching off that side of the brain helps, and do something creative...like just paint meaningless things, have a sleep and wake up and tell myself that I've done the best I can. Trying to 'force' it out, sometimes makes it worse.
You can do it obviously. I hope you find a way to relax and open up the thought process.
