It is definitely a pain... this'll be my first serious move, though (everything in one go). August 5th is the moving date, so there's some time.  :)

4.5 Hours gets me from Belfast to Cork, so to me that's quite long. :laugh:

I might move out of the country in the next few years, might settle in the UK.

Yeah, I envy people in Ireland and the UK -- everything is right on top of everything else, which is especially nice if you don't drive. Here everything is way too spaced out.  :laugh:  Where in the UK are you considering?
