dealbreakers
« on: August 24, 2009, 01:05:29 PM »

A question for the single people on the board.

Are there any "red flags", or "dealbreakers", that would prevent you from dating someone?
For instance, I won't date a girl who has kids or has been divorced.

A few; I won't date someone who doesn't read books, is overweight, religious, has bad teeth or is ignorant.

dealbreakers are more for women since they can be more selective

with that said clingyness is a bit of a turn off for me, along with any signs of emotional instability (i.e.texting me every 5 minutes, getting extremely angry at me for canceling plans)

any kind of illegal drug use except pot

That's just ridiculous.

Homophobic
Racist
"I can't get a date and it's all wimmenz fault! It has nothing to do with I'm a douchebag chauvinistic bastard with unrealistic standards. The wimmenz just don't like nice guys."  ::)
Trust issues - I have little patience when it comes to dealing with guys who have difficulties separating the actions of past girlfriends from current ones who haven't even done anything to deserve mistrust.
Smells - I have an abnormally strong sense of smell, so I can't deal with this.
Stealing jman's any kind of illegal drug use except pot.
Any sign that the guy is emotionally or physically abusive.
Touchy feely upon first meeting.
George:I'd say I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not. I excel at not giving a shit. Experience has taught me that interest begets expectation, and expectation beget disappointment, so the key to avoiding disappointment is to avoid interest. A equals B equals C Equals A, or whatever. I also don't have a lot of interest in being a good person or a bad person. From what I can tell, either way, you're screwed. Bad people are punished by society's laws, and good people are punished by Murphy's Law
