Was it captured or raised.  I have been on the Nautilus first nuclear powered sub and the USS Albacore  a prototype from the 1960's.  We have a nuclear missile submarine base about an hour's drive from my house and the museum has several that you can't go on also.

Enigma machines feature prominently in Cryptonomicon, which I've not long ago finished. Cool to see what they actually look like.
