Rest in Peace David Eddings

This will probably be the only famous name whose death can bring me to tears. When it was so hard to be understood, to talk, I found his books. Part of who I am now is because of this person. The reason I became a writer is because of this person. I don't know how to say thanks when all he did was make some unknown person across the other side of the country laugh when she didn't think she was still capable of it.
George:I'd say I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not. I excel at not giving a shit. Experience has taught me that interest begets expectation, and expectation beget disappointment, so the key to avoiding disappointment is to avoid interest. A equals B equals C Equals A, or whatever. I also don't have a lot of interest in being a good person or a bad person. From what I can tell, either way, you're screwed. Bad people are punished by society's laws, and good people are punished by Murphy's Law

Well if that person is part of who you are, then they aren't really dead are they? Think about it like that. ;)
"I’m fearless in my heart.
They will always see that in my eyes.
I am the passion; I am the warfare.
I will never stop...
always constant, accurate, and intense."

 :(

I didn't even like his stuff, but I have fond memories of the girl who talked me into reading it. I was starved for fantasy and it was a big revelation to knock into somebody else who was willing to be seen holding a book with a sorceress on the cover.
You'll never self-actualize the subconscious canopy of stardust with that attitude.
