It's even worse: modern "society" is a mix of "Fahrenheit 451" and "1984". And you prefer to laught at it. Take Rage as a role model instead. He intends to do something about it when it gets unbearable.

They already watch us.  :orly:

Most likely with all that money and power I guess they get mighty bored after doing all those privileged things.
After traveling everywhere, owning every possession possible, going to the moon ect they have nothing left better to do than
watch a bunch of aspies  discussing  diapers,  sex, porn, skull business, machine parts, my little nazi ponies and Beatles.

Hey thanks man. But you know i'd rather avoid the BIG fight if I can in the end. If theres an alternative, i'll definetely be looking at it very carefully. But slavery is not an alternative I would consider.

You shouldn't start a fight, of course, but if you were about to become a slave, that would be a pretty good reason for a struggle on life and death.

People do get eyeballed by governments but unless you are living in a total police state then it's not likely that the chekists will give you more than a passing glance. Outfits like the FBI don't have the resources to scrutinize everyone there is. If things really do get unbearable then it's time to ask yourself "What would Gordon Kahl or Sofia Perovskaya do?", until such a point gets reached it makes more sense to try to get your point across through communicating with your elected officials. I doubt that very many people who are too lazy to express themselves to their Congressman or Parliamentary Representative when it is low cost will do so when the stakes are very high.

In Sweden there are some absolute taboos in politics:

* gun laws
* immigration policy
* drugs
* prostitution

About those things there is no fucking idea whatsoever to try to get a member of the parliament to make a change. Only the Nazis, extreme commies or libertarians want free guns for the people, though for very differing reasons, of course. Only the Nazis or the very few really conservative want another immigrant policy. Only the libretarians want another drug policy and prostitution policy. You can't ask the establishment to change these laws; won't work.

I've voted for parties that want to change the gun law and the immigration policy. I know people who have, in vain, tried to change it by trying to talk to the establishment.
