update:

my wife is now refusing the name eamonn altogether.
she says that the other kids will call him semen.
so i ask, "what's wrong with being a sailor?"

Boston Robert Trimmer is the most likely at this point.

i told her i will call him Bert.

BRT?  he may be called BRAT.

and if you could really countenance filling out the form while your wife is in that condition, you're far less of a human being than i thought, mcj - i hope you were joking?

if he is anything like his daddy he WILL be a brat.

i was kidding of course.

What about the name boaby/bobby. Does that have the same connotations in the US as here. If so then Bobby Trimmer might be made fun of too.
