I give up on creating some witty subject line.

New here, so I'm saying hello.

I'm currently referred out to a neuropsych by my regular physician and poking about forums associated with AS.  Some of the forums I've wandered into seem a bit too political or paranoid to me, so I thought I'd try here.  I'll hide in the Refuge for my 30 days and hopefully learn to come out of my shell a bit.

Criticism usually makes me hide, and I don't like that about me.  I'm hoping diving in here will thicken my skin a bit.

Welcome to Intensity  :)  A word of warning though- try not to take the things people might say to you when you venture out of the 'safe forums' too personally or it'll drive you nuts.

i used to be extremely shy, but i forced myself to take chances, and now, i don't really give too much of a crap what others think of me.

No, a photo's fine.  I usually use photos of myself; this current one is a pic of my eye.
